Our elementary program is known for its small class sizes and loving, caring teachers.  Abeka and BJU Press textbooks will be utilized in most of the content areas.  Students will receive additional weekly instruction in the areas of Music, Physical Education, and Library. In addition, students will attend a weekly chapel service where songs and Bible lessons will be prominent.  They will also take part in two musical productions, one at Christmas and the other for Grandparents Day.

MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Abeka and BJU Press textbooks will be utilized in most content areas.  In Math, advanced students will be able to take Pre-Algebra in 7th grade and Algebra I in 8th grade and receive High School credit.  In addition, students will be able to take modular classes in Spanish and Art and Music.  Physical Education meets every day at TSCA.  Band and Drama are also offered.  TSCA hosts a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society.  Students are inducted based on their achievements in academics, leadership and service to others.  In addition to their Bible classes, there is a weekly Chapel service where students are encouraged to worship the Lord in song and are challenged in the “Word” by guest speakers from churches in our community.

High School Program

Tri-State Christian Academy High School Program (9th – 12th Grade):

Tri–State Christian Academy is a 4-year College Preparatory School.  We focus on building the whole person; body, mind and soul.  Our academic program is centered on producing young men and women that will become outstanding examples of followers of Christ in their churches and communities.  The High school educators utilize rigorous and challenging textbooks produced by Abeka and BJU Press.   In addition, TSCA has partnered with Cecil College in their “College Bound” program to allow our top students to take College level courses in a variety of disciplines, including Math and English.   TSCA students also have opportunities to excel in the Fine Arts and Interscholastic Sports throughout the year.  TSCA hosts a chapter of the National Honor Society where students are inducted based on their achievements in academics, leadership and service to others.  In addition to their Bible classes, students attend a weekly Chapel service where they are encouraged to worship the Lord in song and are challenged in the “Word” by guest speakers from churches in our community.  As a way of sharing what they have learned at TSCA, all high school students are required to complete community service hours as a requirement for graduation.

Home School Program

Thank you for your interest in the Home School Division of Tri-State Christian Academy. We believe that teaming together with you and your child will provide opportunities that may be unavailable otherwise. I am sure you realize that your child's education includes more than just academic instruction. Your child also needs the opportunity to develop socially, spiritually and athletically as well. Tri-State Christian Academy gives your child the opportunity to experience numerous venues of student activities for fun and development. TSCA believes it is important to provide varying opportunities for the student that best exercises his or her unique, God-given talents, abilities, and interests.

While your child may not experience every activity that the resident students of TSCA experience, your child will experience many of the opportunities afforded to our entire student body. Examples include: Little Crusader sports (grades 3-5), Elementary and Middle School Electives (including Art, Music, Drama, etc.), Field Trips, Homecoming activities, ACSI Academic and Fine Arts Competition, 8th Grade Trip to New York, Kindergarten, Middle School and High School Graduation, and many other activities.

TSCA will provide a Home School coordinator to work with you in developing your child's curriculum choice, act as a liaison between the home and the school, and aid in developing and checking your child's academic portfolio.

If we can assist you in this all important endeavor of educating your child please feel free to contact our school office for further information. We welcome you to become part of the TSCA "family" and serve together in the education of the children with which God has blessed you.

Arc PROGRAM

Tri-State Christian Academy offers an onsite specialized instruction program for students who are unable to perform successfully with regard to regular classrooms academics.  Small group instruction in specific skill subjects such as reading, language arts and math is intended to meet your child where he/she is currently in the areas of need and to make academic progress at a rate that is both challenging and yet comfortable for your child. An alternate curriculum may need to be designed for meeting the needs of your child. A parent meeting with the ARC Program director is necessary before services can begin.
