The whole school is excited about our upcoming Book Fair March 30th - April 2nd. An amazing selection of books is headed our way!At the Book Fair you will find the latest and finest titles for kids, as well as books of interest to parents. Mark your calendar for our Family Event on Tuesday, March 31st where the whole family can join in the fun.  And, you can contribute books to your child's classroom library. The Book Fair is a great way to get everyone excited about reading. UPDATE: TALENT SHOW TRY-OUTS HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED TO AFTER SCHOOL THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Music Department will be hosting a talent show on April 23, 2015 at 7:00pm in the school auditorium!

If you are interested in trying out and showing your talent, please sign-up in the office. There is a $5.00 entrance fee due at try-outs. Students in 1st through 12th grade are eligible to participate. Prizes will be awarded for 1st place in elementary school, 1st place in upper school, and an overall 1st place winner. Please be sure to bring your permission slip and entrance fees to your audition on February 26th.

We welcome any talents you may wish to show off! All acts must be appropriate for family audiences. We reserve the right to disqualify on the grounds of inappropriate content.

It’s time to “Link Up with the Seniors”February 20 – March 3

Tri-State Christian Academy’s senior class is kicking off our annual class links competition. Each class attempts to build the longest link chain by purchasing links for 25¢. The chains will be displayed in the cafeteria so that the students can see their progress. Each day the seniors will collect the money from each homeroom teacher and add the links! The students will be competing within their own groups: K-3 - 1st grades 2nd - 5th grades Middle/ High School Elementary: 1st place- Pizza/Movie Party 2nd place (any class with 250 links) -Ice cream Party Middle/High: 1st place- 5 dress down days 2nd place (any class with 250 links) 2 dress down days

National School Choice Week

Tri-State Christian Academy to Celebrate National School Choice Week

On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, TSCA will participate in National School Choice Week 2015 with a special event.

The event, which will take place at 1:45 PM at the school. This event will feature Dave "the one man Volleyball team" on January 28th at 1:45 pm.

National School Choice Week is a non-partisan, non-political effort that raises awareness about the importance of effective education options for students. More than 9,000 events are being planned across the country to celebrate National School Choice Week.

Dress Down Day

The Varsity Cheerleaders will be having a CHRISTMAS DRESS DOWN DAY fundraiser on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18th. Students may pay $1 (per piece) to wear:

- Christmas t-shirt or sweatshirt/hoodie

- Jeans

- Christmas hat, headband, etc.

Payment will be collected in homeroom Thursday morning. Please remember all clothing must follow TSCA's modesty guidelines - no skinny or tight fitting jeans, no leggings, no sweatpants, any wording/pictures on clothing must be appropriate. All proceeds of this fundraiser will go to the Varsity Cheerleading Squad

Annual Cookie Walk

Tri-State Christian Academy's 4th Annual Cookie Walk

On Friday, November 21st from 3:30-9pm the PTF will hold our 4th Annual Cookie Walk. You will have the choice between a $5.00 and $10.00 box to stuff full of delicious treats! A Month of Service

The Bible says in Psalm 100:4, "Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise!  Give Thanks to Him; Bless His name!

As Christians living in the United States, we should be so grateful and thankful for all of God's blessings in our lives. He is good! His mercy endures forever. At TSCA, we are encouraging all of our teachers and staff to promote these themes throughout the month of November in all of their classes. We are trusting that the students, as they learn these lessons, will apply them by taking part in service projects that we have planned for this month.  Each department in the school will have a different focus.

Pre-School and Kindergarten: The Pajama Project The pre-school and kindergarten will be partnering with "The Pajama Program" and Scholastic Books in the "Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive." Our little ones will be able to donate a new pair of pajamas to children in need. Scholastic will then match the donation with a new book for the recipient! New pajamas are a very exciting gift for any child. We are looking forward to see how many pajamas that will be able to donate to this wonderful program!

Elementary: Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child The elementary students will be participating in Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Each classroom will be filling two shoe boxes full of gifts and necessities for needy children. Samaritan's Purse will then send the packed boxes to children in need around the world. This is a good way for our elementary students to show God's love to other children around the world.

Middle School: Operation Paris Foundation The middle school students will be collecting items that will help the Paris Foundation meet the needs of the helpless and homeless of Cecil County. Each student is asked to bring in white athletic socks, hats, gloves and blankets. Mike Brandon, executive director of the Paris Foundation, says that these items are essential for people as they face the prospects of a long, cold winter in Cecil County. Mr. Moran will have containers in the middle and high school hall to have students drop off the items. The students will have until Tuesday November 25th to contribute to the cause.

High School: Operation Thanksgiving Dinner Each high school class will be asked to prepare boxes that will provide a local needy family with the ingredients necessary for a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner.  In lieu of a nonperishable food product, money will be accepted to purchase a turkey for each box. The goal is to provide eight families with a nice holiday dinner. In addition to the dinner boxes, our junior and senior classes will be involved in either serving or preparing a meal for the Paris Foundation during the week of November 10th.

Spirit Week

TSCA will celebrate Spirit Week October 6th - 10th.  Below are the themes for each day.
Monday - FanDay: Wear your favorite team's jersey, shirt, accessories, etc.
Tuesday - Time Travel Day: Dress-up like someone from the past or future
Wednesday - Clash n' Bling: Mix n' match, excessive accessories, etc.  The crazier the better!!
Thursday - Color Wars: Each class is assigned a specific color - see your teacher for your color
Friday - Crusader Day: Wear your RED, WHITE AND BLACK
We will end the week with a Pep Rally at 2:15 on Friday and our Varsity Soccer Homecoming Game VS. the Tome Titans on Saturday, October 11th at 7pm.

Tri-State Christian will be participating in Anti-Bullying Awareness the week of October 13th. To help continue this awareness, we are making available TSCA Peer Power Tees for just $8.00. Students will be able to wear these shirts on Wednesday, October 15th and then the First Friday of every month for the rest of the year. Parents, staff and friends are also encouraged to order shirts to help spread awareness. Please see the order form for details . .. all orders must be placed by October 1st to allow for delivery before the 15th.

See You At The Pole 2014

See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September. See You at the Pole™ is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event. For more information please visit www.syatp.com. Tri-State will participate in this event on Wednesday, September 24th. All students, parents, staff & faculty are welcome to join at the flagpole at 7:45am. We hope to see you there.

General Information

  • All athletes in 6th - 12th grade must have a physical before they can practice or play on a team.
  • Athletic fee is $25.00 per sport. This is due before any player may participate in a sport.
  • P.E. Uniforms are required for gym classes from 6th - 12th grade. In addition, you must wear your gym uniform for all team practices. You may purchase a uniform at the book store (Aug 19-21). The cost for the P.E. uniform will be $25.00/set or $15.00/piece.

Boys Varsity Soccer (9th-12th grade) UPDATED 8/13/14 Head Coach: Colin Ford cford@tristatechristian.org Practice starts Monday August 11. We will practice Monday to Friday next week (8/11-15) from 3-5 each day. Then the following week we will have practice Monday to Wednesday 3-5. Thursday (21st) we have a scrimmage at home vs Newark Charter. Saturday (23rd) we have a tournament at Harford Christian School. That will cost $15 per player to participate in that tournament. Free Sport Physicals

Don't miss your opportunity for a free physical.

Cecil County Public Schools offer free physicals once a year so that every student has the opportunity to participate in athletics.

Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Elkton High School from 3:00 p.m. until finished    

TSCA will have a bus leaving at 2:45 for those students wishing to get a physical.  Afterwards, we will return for open gym and pizza.  Students will contact parents when they are ready to be picked up. 

Each student getting a physical must have the front side of our TSCA Physical form completed and signed by a parent BEFORE going Tuesday.  These forms can be found in the Main Lobby or printed from our website at http://www.tristatechristian.org/forms (be sure to print part 1 &2)
